About
LORIA is the French acronym for “Lorraine Research Laboratory in Computer Science and its Applications”. LORIA is the largest laboratory in the North-East of France and is common to CNRS, the University of Lorraine and INRIA. This unit was officially created in 1997. The SYNALP research team will participate to the consortium: SYNALP stands for Statistical and sYmbolic NAtural Language Processing and focuses on hybrid, symbolic and statistical approaches to natural language processing and applications built thereon, including Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Generation (NLG). The SYNALP team is also the founder of the DEEPLORIA working group, which brings together more than 80 researchers interested in deep learning around common seminars, reading groups, talks and other activities.
