TELECOM SudParis, Member of the IMT (Institut Mines-Telecom)

Telecom SudParis belongs to the Institut Mines-Telecom (IMT). The mission of the Institut Mines-Telecom is to provide higher education, research and continuing education in engineering and management. It is a public administrative largely endowed and managed by Ministry of Economy and Finance.The Institute Mines Telecom is a network of France’s most prestigious engineering schools, a total of 11 engineering graduate schools and one dedicated business school. The group’s strength lies in the complementarity of its schools and their cohesion, founded with a common vision:

  • to prepare students for the business world;
  • to develop the economy and regions;
  • to contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship.

These activities are carried out as students take on the issues of the major transitions in digital technology, energy, industry and education.

Excellence in Training and Research

All the schools have vibrant multicultural campuses and a great cosmopolitan, international outlook: 33% of the group’s 13,660 students are not French nationals. The group’s schools are distinguished by its highly sought students: 90% of graduates are recruited directly after graduation.

The schools cover abroad range of studies: applied mathematics, civil engineering, electronics, energy, Information and communication technology, social sciences, economics, mechanics, materials, health and environment.

The Institut Mines-Telecom’s research activities are focused on five key domains of strategic importance: the digital world, energy management, advanced materials science, natural resources and the environment and finally, technology in the economy and society.

The Institute’s commitment to research and innovation has earned national and international recognition. IMT has been awarded 2 Institut Carnot labels and IMT’s schools are home to dozens of research labs and CNRS teams producing acclaimed research.

The Institute Mines-Telecom is firmly committed to collaboration with industry-leading international companies such as BMW, Bouygues Telecom, BNP Parisbas, Cisco Systems and among others.
