Setur was founded by Koç Holding in the middle of 1964 on the issue of the decision to allow customs-exempt stores to operate in our country.

Setur started its activities as a company that provides Duty Free services and continues its activities in this field.

With more than 30 years of experience in the congress sector, Setur is a member of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
In addition to tourism activities, Setur also operates in the Duty Freeve private aviation sector.

Setur took the importance of digitalization and innovation one step further and implemented R & D center. The R & D Center, which has been preparing and working since 2017, was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology Commission on September 24, 2018. It provides employment to 21 full-time and 11 part-time R & D staff. Setur aims at global growth in the tourism sector, where competition is intensively experienced, and with the awareness that this goal can be achieved through R & D and innovation, while investing in qualified human resources, it also develops university and sector collaborations. In this context, Setur will support the graduation projects of senior students of various universities and develop sector-specific projects together.
